Industrial loft under a glass sky

An industrial loft under a glass sky
Antoinnete is a klipper whose interior takes its cue from the harbour around her. Instead of hiding the industrial character of a working ship, we leaned into it: black steel-framed glass volumes define the rooms, and a long glazed roof pours daylight deep into the hold, so the space feels like a workshop turned home.
A stage of oak on concrete
A stepped oak platform with integrated drawers rises from the polished concrete floor like a stage, combining seating, storage and a change of level in one piece of joinery. A characterful weathered bar with high stools anchors the space and gives the loft a social heart, softening the steel and glass with timber that has a story of its own.
A cabin below the waterline
Below, a floor hatch opens onto an oak stair that leads to a lower cabin with a black ceiling and brass wall lights. French doors open straight onto the water, turning the most hidden room on board into one of its best. Industrial by nature, softened with oak and light.
